New laptop
I recently bought a new laptop, because my computer stinks. My question is, if I run Guild Wars on my new laptop, would I screw my new laptop? Shouldnt I do it? if it helps my laptop is a EasyNote TJ61

screw up your laptop by playing games? no, unless you try to play in bed or other places that would block off the heat intake/exhaust. or in other words, if you can properly ventilate your laptop, playing games won't damage it.

No, you won't screw it up.

Not a bad laptop for a HP - if you got the same package, you'll want to uninstall all the trial crap that comes with it - in particular the 90-day trial of Norton.
I don't like the sound of that "Magic Desktop" either...

Agreed, Norton is horrible.
The problem with HP is they only include a trial version of Microsoft Office.
As Moriz said, keep you laptop ventilated. Laptops can produce a lot of heat when gaming, so don't play in a place that your vents are obstructed.

Get a notebook fan to keep it cool. Otherwise should be ok.

meh, anything that gets airflow over the parts that generate the most heat will do.
obviously if you're going to be taking it around, lugging a fan around is a little inconvenient, which is why there's coolers designed to fit on the bottom of the laptop. but if you're just staying at home, go nuts.
